It’s no secret that I have a deep love for travel. As you can guess, travel sessions are some of my absolute favorites to shoot! I could go on and on about the perks of traveling with your kids, your significant other, or even solo, and photos of your adventures are an added bonus. If you’re considering booking your own travel session, take a look at some of the most frequently asked questions I get in reference to them!

When should I book my session?

Ideally, travel sessions should be booked a year in advance. However, I can sometimes work on shorter notice if I have the dates open.

What locations are available?

I am open to any location!
Places I have shot at include: San Diego, Joshua Tree, Glamis Sand Dunes, Coronado Island, Las Vegas, Nashville, Glacier National Park, New York City, Disneyworld, Cocoa Beach, FL, New Smyrna Beach, FL.

How long do senior travel sessions typically last?

Senior Travel sessions last at least 3 hours. I like to be sure that we have enough time to shoot at 2 locations -an hour at each, and still have time for driving and exploring.

How many locations are allowed in a senior travel shoot?

Travel senior sessions include up to two locations, but they can be up to 30 minutes (driving distance) apart to include some variety and exploring.

How many outfits are included in packages?

I recommend at least two outfits per location, so four or up to six would be included in your package. The additional outfits really add variety to your gallery!

What’s the plan for bad/inclement weather?

I check the weather like clockwork, so I’ll definitely be watching for this. However, if there is inclement weather, we may switch gears a bit to a sunrise session if that means having better weather. We can also switch locations or seek an indoor spot to shoot.

Do you provide hair & makeup?

This isn’t a service I offer or include, but I highly recommend it for your photos!

How do you find locations for sessions at each destination?

Once we pick our location, I research locations in the area to find the best for your session. If I come across several, we’ll discuss which you like the best.

Do you add on any additional expenses to the fee (flight/hotel) or is it flat rate?

There are no additional expenses for my travel at this time.

Are products included with my package or digital files only?

Both! You get digital files as well as product credit.

How many digital images are delivered?

This is dependent on the package you choose. Ultimate includes 60 images during the first session, 60 with the second. For Premier, 60 images are included.
